Mold For Rubber Dampener For Copter Skids
cults3d
On the skids of my used copter that I bounght was such a rubber thingi missing. I made this mold and used usual silicon to make new ones. Use a bit of soapwater for the mold, so the silicom will get off easier. Use clamps to fix the mold and inject the silicone. Leave it at least a night, better 24 hours, closed. They are a bit softer and not that beautiful but they to the job. I use two white on the front and the original black ones on the rear. They fit onto a 12 mm tube. Print with 0.1 mm for a nicer surface. UPDATE: Since the silicon is quite soft, I made a V2 where the walls of the thinner parts are thicker ;) I added the freecad-files and the positive form as well for thoose, who want to print it directly with flexible filament.
