Mold for making flask gaskets that will fit with a 125 or 250 mL Corning/BD disposal Erlenmeyer’s flask (Thermo 4112-0125,125 mL flasks: BD Falcon, PC, 355117 or Nalgene, PETG, 4112-0125; 250 mL flasks: BD Falcon, PC, 355121 or Nalgene, PETG, 4115-0250) Instructions: Print with a heat resistant resin such as Formlabs High Temp V2. The surface of mold Part A should be polished to facilitate mold release. Pour two-component liquid rubber (such as Shin-Etsu Silicones, KE-1310ST and CAT1310L) into the mold and then degas it with vacuum. Clamp the two parts together, and incubate for over 120 min at 100°C. I specified Formlabs Form 2 because there was no choice in the drop-down list, but in fact I used Form 3.
