A novel mold design for inline boxer engine connecting rods is proposed, suitable for 2-8 cylinder versions. This concept features a 4-6mm parallel stroke opening, similar to beverage bottles, allowing the folding form to be effectively executed. The casting mold lies horizontally and folds like a pincer to eject the finished rod before removal. Perpendicular filling is involved in this process. The STL file format (igs) is utilized for implementation.
