The inline boxer engine's connecting rods have an innovative concept for the 2-cylinder version. To achieve effective folding, a 4-6 mm parallel stroke with opening is required, similar to beverage bottles, which also use the same PET plastic concept. The finished cast rod is ejected by folding like a pincer and removed. In this process, the casting mold is placed horizontally and filled perpendicularly.
