A platform for mounting your Mokacam on your white water kayak to capture adventures while navigating down treacherous rivers, creeks, and waterfalls. This printable set allows you to secure your Mokacam directly behind you, on the rear handle of your white water kayak. It will provide an unparalleled perspective of your challenges while paddling the most difficult sections of your journey. From atop that platform, the Mokacam will record you, your efforts, and the river features as you tackle them. Now you can capture yourself when you conquer that 60 footer. Once assembled, the platform can be quickly attached to one of the grab handles on your white water kayak. The handle at the rear of the kayak offers an excellent vantage point for the camera pointing forward. Insert the J bolt to secure the handle and then tighten the 5/16 nut assembly with the bell covering the handle cavity. Ensure the Mokacam is tightly secured and pointing forward, slightly down to capture the paddler in action along with the rapids ahead. On a typical kayak designed for creeking, the platform does not pose navigation problems for most maneuvers except for back-deck rolls and similar motions where the paddle is swept across the rear deck. In emergency situations, the plastic parts of the platform will break away and free the paddler. It's a good practice to have a leash or a flotation device attached to the Mokacam in case of such an emergency situation. This requires practiced skills; paddling safely through steep rivers, creeks, and waterfalls demands expertise.
