Mojo

What is Mojo?
Mojo is an open-source robot designed to be as financially viable as technologically feasible for kids to build, program, and enhance. Mojo stands for Motivation and Joy. Introduction movie
The Idea Behind Mojo
Kids learn through Mojo the following things:

Programming

Electronics

3D printing

Engineering

The idea behind and power of open source

Programming
Mojo has an mBlock extension that makes programming easy using coding blocks. From simple tasks like driving a circle or square to advanced programs interacting with sensors and outputs, Mojo is capable.
3D Printing, Electronics, and Engineering
Mojo's bracket is his greatest strength. In one hour, kids can learn to edit the standard bracket into something that executes a specific task, like drawing or playing soccer. From there, they progress to mechanical and electrical inventions they design and program.
Open Source
Aside from Mojo being open source, Tinkercad is a platform where kids post their inventions and find others to make or enhance. This introduces them to the power of Open Source in a fun way.
Social Media
Links
Wiki Factory Willem Wortel How to Mod a Servo for Continuous Rotation
