Moire LED tealight diffuser

Moire LED tealight diffuser

This model follows my previous ideas and attempts to create a transparent diffuser for a light source, that would add moire-like effects, or just some interesting light scattering. Two parts are printed in vase mode, with dual walls thanks to a 30 degree cutout. Vertical ribs at one side of the wall combine light paths to create some interesting effects, when the two parts are put together. Two external notches on inner part help to align them together, but it's quite flexible.Choose the matching angle freely to either expose part of the LED tealight, or keep it hidden. The effects are rather subtle, but you may spot that the pattern is not uniform when being looked at from different angles. Printing:Print in vase mode (spiralize), placed upside down - with narrower round part touching build plate.Optimized for layer height 0.2 mm, but also 0.3 mm is fine (more transparent).Line width 0.4 mm, wider can fuse together at places, but could be still usable and add some rigidity.Bottom/top can look interesting when printed in concentric pattern, though the intermediate layer(s) would be still rectilinear in PrusaSlicer.
