Moen Towel Bar / Paper Holder Mount (Eva + Others)

I recently encountered a failure of the wall mount for my Moen Eva towel bar. After thoroughly researching online and contacting Moen customer support, I discovered that the replacement part is only available as an entire new item, unless it's still under warranty. Determined to find a solution, I took some time to design a custom mount that works perfectly as a replacement. It's essential to note that not all Moen products use the same wall mount, so this design specifically caters to the Eva models and any other devices that utilize the same mounting type. To ensure optimal results, it's crucial to print this part using PETG filament. I initially attempted printing with PLA, but unfortunately, the tab broke off easily under minimal pressure. In contrast, PETG produces a strong and flexible product that meets the design requirements. When printing, I employed build plate support solely for the area beneath the tab, carefully avoiding any support material behind the tab to prevent damage during removal. For the best possible outcome, I recommend printing with 100% infill. While it may be possible to achieve satisfactory results with less infill, this approach ensures a solid and reliable product. Unfortunately, I didn't capture an installation photo before completion, but I plan to add one at a later time if needed.
