Moen to Delta Shower Handle adapter

If you want to install a Moen(brand) shower handle on a Delta(brand) valve/cartridge you will need this 3D print adapter because the adapter that comes with a Moen handle is intended to fit on Moen valve. The ring is optional and will fit very tightly around the front of the valve sleeve, the slot fits around the sleeve. It will prevent water from getting into the cartridge/valve. This won't be visible because it will be between the handle and the valve sleeve. You will place the ring around the sleeve first, it will be a very tight fit. Then you will place the adapter on the valve and hold it with the big screw. Then you will place the handle on the adapter and use the small screw. I placed the handle facing down to prevent water from entering the small hole in the handle. The reason I had to change the handle in the first place is because the small screw that holds it corroded so much that it was impossible to unscrew it. As an additional measure to prevent corrosion I used a bit of silicon on the threads of both screws.
