Moen Shower Handle Replacement Stronger inside

I rebuilt the faucet myself after a successful five-to-six month run. Unfortunately, it started to come undone internally, prompting me to reinforce the area that had broken apart. I thickened the interior at the weakened spot and attached the file for further reference. The handle is no longer in production, making it impossible to find a replacement for my Moen faucet.
