Modular x Cyclops holder with SN04 sensor attachment
thingiverse
I've been running a stock X carriage and hot end on my Tarantula since I put it together. I've got a GeeTech Pro C that I modified with a Cyclops, and it's worked out amazingly well. I do a lot of multi-color projects for friends and thought I'd try it out with the Spider. I looked around and found some designs, but I really liked the carriage system of Nuggit. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2519798 was my go-to source. The only problem was that his design didn't include anything for the Cyclops, so I had to find another solution. I came across a modular end for the Cyclops designed by 3DFlat, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2187359, which worked out great. However, it couldn't incorporate the stock green sensor like Nuggit's design did. As an extreme novice, I mostly print from Thingiverse and have made a few things in Tinkercad with mixed results. But I decided to take on the challenge and meshed these designs together using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1862482 by Pilotwarezhk. With a bit of tweaking, I came up with my own modular X carriage for the Cyclops, complete with the green stock sensor attached. I've also included a version for the Chinese 2-in-1 out system, which I've since switched to - it's way more reliable and easier to use than the Cyclops.
