Modular Worm Bin
thingiverse
I sought to create a compact worm farm that could be expanded upon, constructed from plastic at a lower cost than its wooden counterpart, and visually appealing enough to remain on my kitchen countertop. I designed it with minimal usage of plastic compared to other models I've encountered, thereby eliminating the need for additional supports. To assemble this design, simply print one each of the bottom, top, and tray components. You can then produce as many middle sections as available space permits. Once all parts are printed, attach a knob to the top section for effortless lifting, fill the middle compartments with bedding, and add your worms. As your plants benefit from the nutrient-rich tea collected in the tray, you may opt to sell or utilize the worms for fishing purposes.
