Modular Wire-Frame Circle Chandelier/Lampshade
thingiverse
This is a modular chandelier/lampshade with a sleek metal wire appearance. It prints out in six distinct pieces, each with its own unique angle for the wires, allowing you to mix and match designs to create various looks. Each piece features a hole and a small protrusion, making it easy to assemble the entire lampshade. The design takes into account the printing process to minimize the need for glue, but if necessary, you can simply file down the protrusions or apply a small amount of adhesive to secure everything in place. To complete a single lampshade, you'll need to print at least the base support, one top-left segment, one top-right segment, and four additional sections. The basic support is designed for standard European light fixtures, but an alternative multi-support option is available for smaller sockets - simply remove any excess rings from the printed design. All of the pieces are also compatible with my Hexagon lampshade model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3337931), giving you the freedom to combine circle and hexagon designs. Feel free to give it a try or share your thoughts! P.S. I experimented with cutting some of the wires, softening them with a lighter, and bending them into unique shapes - the result is a truly 3D, random look.
