Modular Video Game Caddy

A Modular Game Caddy Designed to Expand with Your Family's Gaming Collection. As my kids' gaming library continues to grow exponentially, I've designed a modular blueray/PS4 game caddy that can easily expand to accommodate their ever-increasing collection of games. The print time for adding new components is surprisingly manageable, making it easy to upgrade as needed. This design takes inspiration from existing concepts on the site, but with some key improvements. Unlike many other designs, this one doesn't require a separate "floor" piece, which reduces unnecessary printing and makes assembly easier. The modular design allows for up to 5 game slots, and when you run out of space, simply print additional front and back pieces to expand your caddy. In the future, I plan to add a personalized touch by incorporating a logo or my kids' names onto the angled piece at the front of the caddy. This will not only make it more visually appealing but also give it a special, one-of-a-kind feel. When designing this project, I paid close attention to the tolerances for the interface pieces that connect the various components together. With a tolerance of approximately 0.2mm, the fit is snug and secure, giving me confidence in its durability. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this design! Have any questions or suggestions? Please feel free to leave a comment below and let's discuss further.
