Modular Utensil Cup Set (4 Versions)

The same cup is used with all the variations on the lids and internal dividers. Print the corresponding divider and lid for the compartment configuration needed. The 1 compartment configuration simply doesn't need a divider. The Cup: I went with a more hexagonal design to help prevent it from getting knocked over. When I left tools in (normal and round) cups, by morning they'd usually end up on the floor by my cats, who like to go on countertop and desk adventures late at night. The cuts on the inside are for the dividers to fit in, which help contain the items within their compartments. The lids fit on top of the dividers. The holes are a design choice, but also help with print times and material cost. I don't have problems printing without supports. The Lids and Dividers: I started with the four compartment design and worked backwards with the 3 compartment version when I decided I wanted versions that could hold scissors and other wider things. The dividers need to be printed upside down to avoid using supports. Uses: I've used these for pens and pencils, toothbrushes with toothpaste and tools like hobby knives, nail files and needle files. I keep one in my cabinet above the coffee machine for coffee stirrers.
