The 3D model showcases a modular train with an internal combustion engine (ICE). This versatile vehicle is composed of a locomotive and railroad cars made up of interchangeable modules. It can operate on rails of varying gauges, suitable for both trams and trains. Upon arrival at the station, passengers or cargo must transfer to a new modular train with different bogies and top sections. Despite the need for two complete trains in most cases, their components are identical, reducing costs. In some instances, the entire top section can be moved onto a wider rail's bogey using a crane. The ICE version is fitted with a hybrid-electric motor and powers the bogies, improving traction and hill-climbing ability. Electromagnetic brakes on locomotive and railroad car bogies offer enhanced safety compared to disc brakes. This lightweight and adaptable train design improves transportation connectivity by enabling rails of different types and gauges to be joined together.
