Modular Tealight-Lighthouse
thingiverse
This is my second attempt at designing for my Sculpto+ and the first one I'm publishing. As a newcomer to 3D-design (my printer arrived just last week), I'm already hooked. You can use the tealight base with just the top or with the tube and the top, giving you options for either a small lighted house or a lighthouse. Try printing the base and the top in different colors, but stick to Sculpto Filament's neutral PLA color for the tube so that the light can shine through. Since my Sculpto+ isn't listed in the printer settings, things are a bit more complicated - I only had three options: support, strength, and quality. I chose none for support, normal for strength (it's the middle ground between weak and strong), and fine for quality (the best option available). The Sculpto+ always prints with a raft; you don't have a choice in this matter, but if you're using another printer, you might want to consider it too - I'm not sure. The raft will come off easily after printing. Minimal sanding is required; simply print, peel off the raft, insert the tealight, and enjoy. I created this design using Tinkercad. Happy 3D-printing!
