Modular Tabletop

Modular Tabletop

thingiverse

Just a straightforward design for a modular tabletop riser system utilizing tongue and groove joints to connect panels together. This system is specifically tailored for tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons, allowing players to elevate the play area/map off the table to create extra room and declutter the surface by placing items under the board when not in use. The design stands at 105mm tall (approximately 4 inches) and 205mm wide (about 8 inches), with a completely modular structure that enables users to add as many panels as desired, extending horizontally in any direction. Marked as a Work-In-Progress, this design will be updated in the future to minimize material usage and incorporate additional functionality. UPDATE: A significant overhaul has been implemented for Version 2: - Tongue and groove joints have replaced dove tail connections for easier assembly. - Each panel features a single leg point located centrally. - Endcaps have been added to conceal end joints, provide extra space on the edges, and enhance overall design aesthetics. - A 25mm square grid has been integrated.
