Modular Synthesizer Control Keyboard
pinshape
DIY synthesizer designers rejoice! The multi-part design for synthesizer controller keyboards is finally here, and it's a dream come true. With modular design, you can print as many sections as you need, without any limits. Want another octave of keys? No problem! Just print all you want. Need five modulation wheels? You've got them! This design has some fantastic features that will make your DIY synthesizer dreams come to life. The front panel has a grid embossed on the back for easy drilling of holes for knobs and sliders, so you'll never have to worry about your drill slipping away again. The bottom includes mounting holes for screwing down circuit boards, making it easy to assemble your project. The edges are designed with grooves to keep parts in alignment, ensuring that everything stays together perfectly. And the best part? This design is fastened together at the ends with threaded rods, making it a breeze to assemble and disassemble as needed. Plus, the parts are currently scaled down for easy printing, but you can easily scale them up to any size you need. The file "keyboard6.stl" provides an exploded view of all the parts, giving you a clear overview of the design before you start printing. Note: I've used a tool to repair non-manifold geometry in the original files, which might result in some strange screw holes, but it should print correctly now.
