Modular Storage Box
thingiverse
This is a modular box design specifically for Tea enthusiasts, but it can also be used as a container for electronic components if desired. The lid of the box ensures that the tea bags' aroma remains inside and can be easily printed in multiple copies to expand your collection. I employed 2mm thick Plexiglass (60X75mm) as a window due to transparent filaments not being sufficiently transparent, making it simple to cut at home. Another essential component is the neodymium magnet with a 3mm diameter and 1mm height. Only two magnets are used in the corners, yet the box still securely holds tea bags even when inverted; however, using all four corners is an option if desired. The connections are tight, requiring some force to secure them together, but once attached, they remain firmly in place. The magnets and handle are press-fitted, while the plexi glass could also be press-fitted if precise cutting is achieved; I used one drop of superglue in each corner for added security. There's sufficient space at the corners between the boxes to push an M3 bolt through if you want to attach them to a wall from behind.
