Modular spacer for Caravan Air Tents (DOREMA, OUTWELL, or similar))

<p>Why I designed this:</p> <p>Two years ago we bought a new awning to our caravan. This one is hold by air tubes instead of the typical steel tubes.</p> <p>Anyway leveling the tent on a not flat surface is to be performed using spacers under the tents feet. The spacers supplied with our tent are disks made of foam (see pictures).</p> <p>This simple solution is creating two issues:</p> <ol> <li>The foam disks aren´t connected in any way to the tents feet or in between. So they are sliding away quite easily.</li> <li>The disks thickness is decreasing over time.</li> </ol> <p>The new spacers printed are modular, stable and providing some guidance to the tens feet also. We had this thing in use during our last 3 weeks vacation under windy conditions also ...and we are happy with the results :-)</p> <p>The black parts (basic) had been printed with TPU, the grey ones (spacer) using PETG.</p> <p>Finally, I do agree this is not a cheap solution for this issue, but for me worth the money.</p> Category: Sport & Outdoors
