Modular Shelf System
thingiverse
The Wife asked me for some shelfs for her spices and hot sauces, so instead of quickly cutting up some wood and grabbing brackets from the hardware store I decided to spend hours designing a modular parametric shelfing system in Fusion360. It consists of 4 main pieces, one or two leg mounted shelfs, connector shelfs, end pieces, and legs. The most basic shelf can be made with one 2 leg shelf, two legs, and two ends. Longer shelfs can be made by adding a connector shelf and another mounted shelf, or several. I have included some various STLs for a 60mm deep shelf with 10mm tall 5mm thick lip, and some other size shelf I have made in zip files, but the main feature is the F360 archive. Just load it up go to MODIFY->Change Parameters and start changing numbers to get a shelf that fits your needs. The main parameters, like the depth, widths, and lip size are marked as favorites but all dimensions are adjustable by User Parameters. The current design used M3x6mm countersunk screws to connect the shelf pieces and #6 wood screws for mounting, but this can be adjusted in the parameters.
