Modular Sewers Tiles

FDM-ready and no supports required! Build your own sewer system for your fantasy wargaming table. Or any kind of fantasy tabletop game! With this set of modular tiles, each 5 by 5 centimeter wide, you can build your own sewer system with canals, large tanks, and even hidden rooms, through which the local mercenaries sneak from the city into the sewers. This set of modular tiles uses a basic socket and clip connection system. There’s a thin piece in the middle of each socket that needs to be cut out before the socket can be used. Use clip.stl to connect sockets together. If your printed tiles using clip.stl are too tight, try clip-longer.stl, as it’s a little bit longer and should provide better clearance between the parts. The bridge comes in two parts, which should be printed on the flat side. Then, glue them together and voila, you have a bridge across the channel. Known issues:- The only known issue is with sewer-block-7, the large one ending a canal. The very top of the circular stone pipe might be difficult to print, and printing creates artifacts resulting from lack of support. That said, while it may look a bit ugly, it’s not really visible when looking at the piece from above, so it shouldn’t be an issue. It will print fine in the end. You may also try some organic supports to support that part of the tile. Tips:- To achieve similar look of the nasty water like the one in the photos, do the following: paint the canal’s floor white, then green. I use Vallejo Intermediate Green. Then, add splashes of GW Mortarion Grime here and there. Finally, once everything is dry, cover the floor with AK Puddles. It’s quite thick and has a nice surface tension, so you can spread it however you want with a brush, and it won’t drip over the edges.
