Modular Scrubbing Node Grid
thingiverse
This design was inspired by this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:863534. My goal was to create a modular design that could be customized, so I came up with this solution. While it's not as flexible as I had hoped, working on this project helped me improve my parametric grid design skills. For those familiar with OpenSCAD, you can easily replace the base module with any shape you want and they will automatically link together. I've included three different types of tops for various scrubbing surfaces: a smooth one, a bumpy one, and a ridged one. You can choose to use any or all of them in a grid of your choice. Feel free to experiment with the code and make it your own. If you need any improvements or modifications, just let me know. I've made some updates to improve print quality, including adjusting the rides and adding a base tolerance to prevent modules from fusing together during printing.
