Modular Screw, Nut and Bolt Drawers on a Rotating Base

pinshape

A versatile storage system for small items. Modular drawers that slide smoothly in and out of a frame can be easily connected to form a base that rotates. The drawers can be stacked on top of each other, minimizing the space required by the storage system. To assemble the sides, one needs to be printed as is, while the other should be mirrored along its x-axis. Once assembled, some glue can be added in the joints for extra stability. This system has been used to store M4 nuts and bolts, but it will also work well with Meccano toys. The addition of a bearing and base, as well as photos showing the assembly process, are now available. Four-point-five millimeter BB gun bullets were used as ball bearings in this project.
