The size of this project can be adjusted according to the dimensions of the aluminum extrusions and the number of roadwheels and track links. Work is ongoing, and researchers are still searching for a suitable drive unit, as the chosen motors are not powerful enough. To address this issue, they're considering a brushless solution with planetary gears. Several modifications have been made so far, focusing on reliability and minimizing wear. These changes will be tested before uploading the necessary files to ensure their usability. Regarding the tracks, two different versions are available. Initially, I thought DIN912 M4x80mm screws would make perfect track pins due to their abundance, but they're pricey, making them a budget-buster. As an alternative, 3mm stainless steel rods with M3 threads on both ends and self-locking nuts were used as track pins instead.
