Modular Savonius VAWT Blade

Simple design for a modular Savonius blade on an 8mm rod. it is designed to printed then used with the face that was on the printer bed pointing upwards. Use the same file repeatedly to have them fit together. The pieces can be glued together for extra strength. So far, I have only had to use a rubber mallet to get the pieces together. You can use the screw holes to hold together each half while gluing. The files with M on the end are mirrored versions. They will rotate in a counter direction to each other. I recommend around 8 pieces making up 4 layers. U_Blade is the newest version and should be used instead of D_Blade
