This object was created in Tinkercad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2Q9zzsanIvK These objects are designed for the "TinkerCAD Design Competition - The Great Outdoors" #TinkerFUN (https://www.myminifactory.com/competition/142) The Concept: We enjoy spending time at the beach and having fun on warm summer days. Kids always love playing in the sand and building things. We all know how to make sand castles with the sand, but I thought it could use a 3D printing upgrade. Something to expand their creativity by giving them the right tools to express their ideas in a satisfying way. The Design: Because the molds were intended for small children (from age 3) they had to be easy to handle and without too much complexity. This would also improve build time and eliminate small parts that would only get lost in the sand. I designed three molds that support each other and allow connected placement to create endless possibilities. The sides of all the walls/towers have been slanted slightly to make extraction easier. Building Tips: Always use wet sand (not watery) to get nice battlements, press the sand after the first scoop filling the mold. It's better to start building walls and then the towers. Enjoy the beach!
