Modular RGB Hexagon Lamp
prusaprinters
A kind of nanoleaf rgb lamp clone... Controlled by an Arduino Nano using Adafruit Neopixel library(sample code included). Maybe I should consider this a working in progress because I did't design a case or “initial module” to hold the Arduino but its possible to start having fun with just the rgb modules! Enjoy! The front lid must be printed in some kind of translucent material like an natural abs (almost white but should not block intere light which is emitted from a single led) and you should use concentric layers for best results!I designed this the simple way possible (maybe) so you should have in mind that the best way to plug your modules is to have them in sequence where one module just power another one. One of the "sides" of the hexagon is a male dupont connector where the other five are female duponts. You will need the following materials for build a module (besides an Arduino Nano/Other):x5 - female 2.54mm Dupont connectors (3 pin header);x1 - Male 2.54mm Dupont connector (3 pin header);x1 - 5V WS2812 RGB Addressable Led (compatible with Adafruit NeoPixel library);x12 - 8mm x 1mm round neodymium magnetsWiringPatience Feel free to ask any questions and don't go crazy with too many modules as Arduino has a current limit!
