Modular Replicator 2 Top Mount Filament Spool Holder

For ideal 3D printer filament holders, I initially preferred top mounts. However, during my Replicator 2 upgrade phase, I used brackett27's design and saw scope for improvement. Key enhancements in my design include a single part for all sides, modular add-in capabilities for holding rods and magnets, a centralizing tube for spools, improved aesthetics, reduced tangling or jamming from resistance issues, and no supports required adhering to the 45-degree rule. I suggest using helper disks via Makerware and McMaster-Carr hardware like M6 x 16 mm flange-head socket cap screws (#92235A238), 3x 3/8 x 2' threaded rod (#98804A031) for holding supports and guiding filament, 3/8 hex nuts (any will do) to hold the rod in place, and round tube - 2" OD, 1-7/8" ID (#8585K64) to centralize Makerbot spools. An update added a snap-on filament guide that attaches to threaded rods for quieter printing and better filament alignment. Areas of further improvement include finishing the top with snap-on caps using magnets and adjusting the groove on the bottom to prevent support collision. Assembling involves printing at least two supports, replacing corner screws with longer ones, assembling the spool rod with a tube in the middle, adding tubes, sliding spools onto the rod, placing it on supports, and optionally threading filament guide rods underneath the spools.
