MODULAR prosthesis NO strings - Atomic Lab - Limbs
thingiverse
Hi! My name is Gino Tubaro, and I'm the founder of Atomic Lab, and startup that's developing an open platform called LIMBS (www.limbs.earth). This is a fixed prosthetic design because we can change the measures through our design program to make it fit easily on the stump. This hand was printed for the #Manoton, where a group of attendees and volunteers assembled 20 prosthetics hands and gave them away for free to users. With support from Microsoft, United & Sodimac. More information is available at www.aka.ms/manoton. This prosthesis is modular, meaning that if you want to take out the fingers holder and connect a support designed by it, you can do so quickly. Or if you want to remove the AtomicLabCover and attach a crossbow, it's also allowed (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1657761). Feel free to create your own modules and share them. More info is available at www.limbs.earth and www.atomiclab.org. Print Settings Printer: TRIDEO & Trimaker Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1->0.25 (No more.) Infill: More than 20% Notes: Read the "ASSEMBLY MANUAL" to know how the parts assemble one to each other. At the end of it, there's a screenshot of how it should be printed and the degrees of rotation of each file.
