Modular Printing Toolbox
thingiverse
This is a custom toolbox design created to store frequently used tools in 3D printing. I originally designed it with limitations in mind, but this allows users to change the insert without reprinting the entire base part. The trapezoid cutout on the back requires printers that can bridge 60mm. To achieve seamless bridging, I use the redesigned Configurable 40mm Fan Duct by AndrewBCN (Thing 540716). On July 15th, 2016, a blank insert was added to be customized for personal tools. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: P3Steel 2.5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Notes: Both parts printed smoothly at 0.2mm layer height. For the best results, use a high-quality fan like Thing 540716 for the top bridge of the base part.
