A custom-built modular switch-box design that can be mounted to a table using C-clamps. The goal is to install an individually switchable power strip under the table top, out of sight, while extending the switches to the table side for easy accessibility. Double-pole-single-throw snap-in switches with illumination are used, standardized in size and repurposed from a discarded power strip. Other materials include two M4 threaded rods to hold the assembly together, M4 nuts and washers for secure locking, and C-clamps with an 8mm diameter shaft for mounting desk lamps and other items.
