Simple modular parts tray in a 40mm grid, designed with precision to provide 0.2mm clearance between modules. Horizontal grooves along the outside allow easy vertical alignment of modules, which can then be securely locked together using a wire, screw, or thin dowel measuring 2.8mm or less in diameter. Alternatively, if your printer experiences Z wobble like mine does, modules can be forced together and remain stable without additional support. Internal corners are carefully rounded to a 5mm radius, enabling the retrieval of small parts without requiring tweezers. The tray features compartments of various sizes, including: 35x35x17.5mm compartments for general use 75x35x17.5mm compartments for larger items 75x75x17.5mm compartments for bulk storage Smaller compartments include: 15x15x7.5mm spaces ideal for screws and small parts 35x15x7.5mm compartments suitable for springs and drill bits 75x15x7.5mm spaces perfect for small hand tools 155x15x7.5mm compartments in two sections, ideal for hand tools and files For custom applications, a 123D Design file is included to allow modification of dimensions as needed.
