Modular Paint rack for 2 Army Painter Squeeze Bottles
thingiverse
First thing i made so go easy. Improved version of my small modular rack for storing two bottles of Army Painter Paints designed for low drawers with a max height of 55mm. First version was a bit too big for my hobbydrawers (dimensions of the drawers are 220x305x57mm (WxLxH). Just a cheap, plastic, stackable, 3-tier drawer i bought) so i revised the dimensions and scaled the amount of bottles down from 3 to 2. Also widened the holes for the magnets so they actually fit in there but it is still in the testing phase so adjustments will be made. It can be magnetised on both the sides and the front and back. The magnet specs i planned for are: - Front and Back: 3mm diameter, 1mm thickness - Sides: 5mm diameter, 1mm thickness The magnets i have are the army painter ones but i'm sure there are cheaper options that fit ;) The rack is designed to be able to store the paints upright as well as with the cap down. Still working on several versions that hold other amounts of bottles (1, 4, more...) and tweaking this design as i go, so it is still a WiP. It should be printable on both FDM as well as STL printers. Currently trying to print it on my STL ptinter (as it's the only one i have) but i'll update this whenever it's printed. Feel free to remix, non-commercial use only.
