Here is a mixer/agitator for airbrush paint bottles, designed with modularity in mind so that users can easily swap out different size bottles as needed. To create this innovative device, I repurposed an old 12mm fan and attached a magnet to one of its blades, causing it to vibrate. There are two distinct versions of the base: one featuring a 21x15mm rocker holder and the other with a 15x10mm rocker switch. Powering everything is a 12v power adaptor, which I sourced from an old HDD power supply unit. Additionally, there's a dedicated space for a potentiometer if you want to take control of the vibration effects. To build this project, you'll need: * A 12mm PC fan * Four compression springs with dimensions 9mm x 35mm * Either a 21x15mm or 15x10mm rocker switch * A solderless 2.1mm female terminal block DC power connector * Four 50mm M3 screws and nuts A crucial tip to keep in mind is that due to the intense vibration, you'll need to weigh down the base to prevent it from toppling over or causing a mess on your work surface. One solution is to find a heavy plate that can be screwed onto the base, or alternatively, place several heavy bags of screws or nuts on the base to stabilize it.
