WARNING: The current 3D components are NOT compatible with PCB RC5 or PCB RC6.\nNew components will be released when PCB RC6 has been finalized and turned into the official PCB v1.0 version if everything checks out as expected. (Added 2016-12-11)\nThe Modular Open Sim Racing Button Box Project is a highly customizable button box designed for iRacing, built around a Teensy 3.2 microcontroller. The "Main Module" is designed to be extremely easy to assemble while still offering an impressive 14 buttons and 3 rotary encoders to navigate the iRacing Black Box screens with ease. This design takes advantage of the internal resistors, allowing wires to connect directly from the switches to the Teensy board.\nThis project is currently a Work-In-Progress (WIP).\nUpdate 2016-10-27: The final prototype is being thoroughly tested. The schematic for the circuit can be found in the Git Repo. Next up will be designing the PCB, followed by having several PCBs manufactured.\nFull source code is available on Github: https://github.com/KaiserSoft/OpenSimButtonBox\nVideo showcasing Prototype 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAUQymDLhig\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: \n MendelMax 1.5+\n \n Rafts: \n Not used\n \n Supports: \n None needed\n \n Resolution: \n 0.25mm layer height for precise details\n \n Infill: \n 20-25% for optimal strength and lightness\n \n Notes: \n Printed in PLA at a temperature of 200C, with the fan enabled to ensure smooth finishing on small parts like encoder knobs.
