This is a frame to build a NAS out of a Raspberry Pi 4 or NanoPi M4 and several 2.5 inch laptop drives. You can use SSDs or HDDs. The design is modular, allowing you to stack as many drives as desired. To get started, you will need: Raspberry Pi BOM: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MBA4_MIdntRmM5Id4CDIesFzkvpFFsqoc3ilLQvXM-4/edit?usp=sharing NanoPi BOM: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x4bQ7UW-Uw923PWbaMt8JPkXt-k_j3668qdDlzOfB_M/edit?usp=sharing Raspberry Pi Amazon shopping cart: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1PSLHA6H4BRSU?ref_=wl_share Nano Pi Amazon shopping cart: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3HS6QZTXP0MZ0?ref_=wl_share Buy Nano Pi M4V2: https://www.friendlyarm.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=69&product_id=268 Full Instructions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-8nUtfmckd7sXCuuApqggEjFFnbgGanFfqvVExsPdj8/edit?usp=sharing To print, you will need: (1) Either the Raspberry Pi mount or the NanoPi mount. (2) Clips for each drive. If you have 4 drives, print 8 clips. (2) Risers (NanoPi or Raspberry Pi) (2) Frame Stabilizers (1) Fan mount (for Raspberry Pi only) Assemble the drive clips onto each drive by sliding them on from the bottom and securing them with screw holes. Stack the drive clips together to form a single unit. Attach the Raspberry Pi to its mount, ensuring the indentation in the printed piece aligns with the position of the SD card slot. Connect the fan to pins 2 (positive) and 5 (negative) of the Pi. If using the NanoPi, note that the direction is critical. The side marked BACK should face towards the frame tabs, with the USB ports facing outwards. Slide the risers onto the Pi mount and then combine the two assemblies together.
