Modular Multi Remote Holder

This is a modular, multi-remote holder for those who have just too many remotes. Remote storage holders are nice to look at and a great place to put your remote when not in use, but what about when you are using them? I have a remote for the TV, DVD (Yes, I still have a DVD player), and a Firestick. I was tired of setting one down and searching for the other in the pile of remotes next to me.

So, long story short here is a customizable multi-remote organizer/ holder/ centerpiece. Just print out the appropriate size remote bracket, attach it to the post unit, and flip/spin to the remote you need. The 3 and 4 posts can keep your current remote facing up so you can still use it while sitting next to you.

It also has the added function of being big, and hard to lose between the couch cushions. Additionally, it's a great conversation starter. Your guests (and likely you if you are reading this) either think this is the most ridiculous and utter waste of filament and use of a 3d printer or, ehh, maybe I'll print one in my favorite colors, after all, the printer is just sitting there not doing anything anyways.

Okay, here are the details for this. You can print the main post, I have 3 versions, a 2 remote unit, for those of you who are minimalist, or just don't waste time with tv. A 3 post, for those who like to tinker, and a 4 post, for those die-hards who have all the toys. If you have 5 or more remotes, wow, you're on your own, maybe print a couple of each post system.

There are 3 remote brackets sizes, these seem to fit most tv, surround, DVD and Firestick remotes (sorry, I don't have an apple, so I don't know, I fall more into the first people category above).

The bracket dimensions are as follows:

Fire Stick: 38mm x 14mm

Medium: 43mm x 20mm

Large: 44mm x 23mm

Don't see a bracket that will fit? No worries, I have a blank bracket, and the socket separately. Just measure what size you need, adjust the bracket to size, center, and join the socket to it and you're good to go.

You can mix and match whichever size bracket fits your remote and attach it to the post. The 3-post version has the benefit of a slight wiggle of the bracket. This allows it to adjust, like a tripod to help maintain balance due to the different shapes/ weights of remotes. It helps keep the active remote up. You can also print out the bracket in multiple colors to help with low-light binging.

PLA or PETG works fine, .2mm, 15% infill, or if you're a sports fan, and prone to throwing remotes, 30%. No supports or brims are needed. Quick print, about 3 hours, snap together, grab some popcorn and a beverage and you're off to the races.
