I truly enjoyed playing The Hunt by Leo Normington, Jr. back in the late '90s and I was eager to find a way to convert it into 3D. I had previously created a papercraft version several years ago, which turned out pretty impressive. With this set, you can easily customize the layout of the maze by simply using different posts. The plates also feature tabs and slots that make it easy for them to fit together in a specific way, as should be clear. To build The Hunt, you will need to print out the following items: 1 each of Plates 1-18 10 Interior Plates A large number of posts and walls. Each plate has small holes between the tiles where you can place the posts. The various posts have slots on their sides that allow the walls to slide in between them. It's up to you to decide how many of each you need. This project will require a significant amount of time, so it's unlikely you'll be able to finish it over a weekend. Also included are generic plates that you can customize to any size you want or need. Each plate has a number on the bottom to tell you where it goes. For the generic plates, you will need all the standard plates (TL, T, TR, L, Interior, R, BL, B, and BR). To expand the size of the maze, print the four corner plates, and as many sides and interior plates as you need. You can add textures to the walls for your games as desired.
