Create an infinite number of marble tracks with interconnecting blocks!

Designed to work with 7mm steel ball bearing (there should be one in your spare parts bag if you built the kit mk3s) but has been tested to work with steel ball bearings as small as 5mm (these are the size of most magnetic buckyball toys, if you have those on hand). You can also scale the print to fit larger or smaller bearings with no ill effect.

Updated 4/2!
Four new blocks. Print instructions still apply to all new blocks.

Updated 4/3!
Added Half Height Base Blocks as suggested by FrankkieNL in the comments.

Updated 4/6!
Added a number of new blocks. Credit for three of the blocks goes to osmoz3d:
-1x1x3 pass-thru block
-Two-way splitting elbow
-Modular foundation blocks with connectors
Thank you so much for your contribution to this project!

Print instructions

All of the files can be printed without support.

I used 0.4mm elephant foot compensation to ensure the blocks fit together properly, but otherwise used the 0.3mm DRAFT default profile for the mk3s.

You will need to print a combination of different kinds of blocks to be able to construct marble drops similar to those shown in the photos. All of the necessary files are included (as well as some not featured in the photos).

Feel free to request more blocks if you think of something that might be fun.

Created for the "Everyday Life Necessities" Contest (Interactive Toys)
