Modular Magnetic Wrench Holders

This is the ultimate modular wrench holder set, featuring an impressive range of 16 sizes that snugly fit every wrench in my collection. Unless you're one of those individuals who obsessively requires each size to fit perfectly, you can probably get away with just printing the medium and large sizes. The correct holder exists for everything from tiny full polish 6mm to massive 80s craftsman chunky 1-inch box wrenches and every size in between. Most modular wrench holders I've encountered are either one-size-fits-all or limited to a fixed wrench count, neither of which met my needs. This set solves that problem by offering an extensive array of sizes that cater to my diverse collection. The individual wrench modules easily snap together using double taper interfaces, allowing me to configure a set of two or 32. If I need to add a new wrench, I simply separate the rack, insert the new holder, and snap it back into place. The rack remains securely in the drawer thanks to two magnets per holder, which prevents them from sliding around even when the drawer is slammed shut. When designing this set, we began with 8x8x3 disk magnets for the larger sizes and 10x5x3 for the smaller ones. However, once our supply of 8x8x3's ran out, we created alternative versions of the bigger sizes using the 10x5x3's, ensuring that both options are included. To complete the look, we designed and printed end plates (front and back) to finish the sets with a clean, polished appearance.
