A versatile lithophane lantern that accommodates anywhere from five to an unlimited number of lithophane panels. To achieve the desired minimum of five panels, simply print the base and the top parts. For ten panels or more, you'll need to add one mid part in addition to the base and top sections. I utilized a reliable online resource, 3dp.rocks/lithophane/, to create each individual panel, carefully ensuring that every photo conformed to precise specifications: a width of 420 pixels (148.17mm) and a height of 629 pixels (221.9mm). For the light source, I would opt for the Xking 2Pcs Slim Dimmable LED Under Cabinet Lighting Kit, boasting a total power consumption of 4W at 12V, featuring warm white illumination and available on Amazon for $18.99. Each component was printed using 3D BEST-Q Wood filament, subsequently sanded with progressively finer grits (100, 200, 600, and 2000) to achieve a smooth finish. A clear lacquer top coat was applied to protect the surface, completing the project.
