Modular Lightsaber UPGRADE: Pro-Blade
thingiverse
I designed a super thin screw to fit a 25mm transparent PVC pipe inside the modular lightsaber I created. Once printed, you need to sand the inner part of the screw to get it to fit snugly on the tube. It can be tough to get the screw onto the tube, but the results are well worth the effort. Once your blade is finished, you can add the tip piece. To achieve a bright lightsaber light, place a roll of transparent cellophane paper inside the hilt. This will help extend the distance over which the light shines. I also added a small piece to allow for easy access to the hilt when the long blade is not attached. You can find the 25mm PVC pipe at this link: https://www.mwmaterialsworld.com/en/materials/pvc/transparent-rigid-pvc-sheet-1/clear-pvc-pipe.html Check out Z9ld's designs, he has some amazing modular lightsaber models.
