thingiverse
A modular cube w/ LED - presence lamp. Designed for 3mm MDF.
You'll need a dual AAA battery case, small on/off button, 2 LEDs and a small M3 screw for the case lid. You'll also need to glue some colored thin paper on the sides of the cube. Very similar to "cube lamp" project.
Update (Ago 2019)
new instructions;
all laser-cut files are now in dxf R12 ASCII format:
you have 3 files, they only differ in their kerf* compensation:
0 : no kerf compensation;
015: all notches are compensated 0,15mm;
020: same thing, 0,20mm.
.* kerf is the amount of material that disappears by the cutting process. To avoid the use of glue and make a correct assembly, this kerf is compensated in the vector file itself.
To cut and assemble the model, use the 015kerf file, or the 020kerf if your laser has a wider cut. If you want to make significant modifications to the file, maybe it's advisable to use the 0kerf file.
Enjoy!
