Modular LED cube

Modular LED cube

thingiverse

A sleek modular cube with an LED presence lamp is designed for use with 3mm MDF. To bring this design to life, you'll need a few essential components: a dual AAA battery case, a small on/off button, two LEDs, and a tiny M3 screw to secure the case lid. Additionally, some colored thin paper will need to be glued onto the sides of the cube. This project bears a striking resemblance to the "cube lamp" design. Update: August 2019 New instructions have been added; all laser-cut files are now available in dxf R12 ASCII format. You'll find three files, each with a distinct kerf compensation setting: * 0: No kerf compensation applied * 015: All notches are compensated for 0.15mm of kerf * 020: Same compensation, but for 0.20mm of kerf Kerf refers to the amount of material lost during the cutting process. To ensure a seamless assembly without glue, this kerf is already accounted for in the vector file. When cutting and assembling the model, use the 015kerf file or the 020kerf file if your laser has a wider cut. If you plan to make significant modifications to the file, it's advisable to use the 0kerf file instead. Enjoy this project!
