Modular Kuerig Cup Holder
thingiverse
Modular Kuerig cup holder. Each level holds five cups and is assembled with threaded parts. The piece that holds the actual cups is not threaded or heavily clamped so you can spin each holder while the rest of the stand stays put. I included two versions of the base. One includes voids where you can pause and insert Tungsten weights for added stability. The weights for the weighted base I used can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08RP9KH22/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00 Print one base and one cap and then a post and holder for each level. I went with five levels, but in theory, you can go as high as you want until gravity takes over and it becomes unstable. I was inspired by the design and modularity of this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:156646, but wanted a version that held the cups better (they kept falling out) and used less filament. Print Settings: Base Weighted and Non-Weighted It'll be fine at any infill percentage, however, I chose to increase it to 50% to give it a little more heft. I also really like the feel of the weighted version if you're up to buying the weights and going through the hassle of pausing the print and inserting the weights. The weight kit also includes Tungsten weight putty so I added a space in the middle to insert that as well. Apply a little of the putty to each of the weights as you insert them to keep them from rattling around in the base. Infill: 50% Cup Holder I printed this piece upside down and it absolutely has to be printed with supports. I found that this turns brittle at less than 30% infill and the cup holders snapped while I was removing the supports. Infill: 30%
