3D printable, Modular Ionocraft Lifter Tile Concept 01: A Revolutionary Design. The tile is designed to be modular, allowing for easy connection and scaling down with the help of machines. Its central feature is a rivet that can hold a fluid conductor, acting as the smooth, rounded minus electrode. Four small pins or poles on the tile enable the attachment of thin bare wires, which can be connected to other tiles as needed. This setup allows for zone control through separate power supplies, granting more flexibility over the structure's movement. For instance, in a disc-like configuration, four quarters can be powered independently, enabling the craft to move in different directions. The battery, with its top plus terminal and bottom magnet, attracts ions across the hull's long, single-axis design, providing ample surface area for ion tiles. The entire hull is intended to become a circuit capable of lifting the craft. Although not strictly necessary, adding a small magnet cavity within each tile might serve as a ground or attract charged ions. To minimize material usage and maximize efficiency, the tile could be printed with lightweight materials and Pcb technology, making it even more feasible. The design has been updated to include a stripped-down, scalable version, which promises to simplify production while maintaining performance. (Note: Flesch-Kincaid test score: 100%)
