Modular Indoor Gardening System
thingiverse
This system is designed to be a modular setup for building indoor gardens. It works seamlessly with 18mm PVC piping, allowing users to create custom structures for their projects. Updates will be provided regularly as work on the system continues. For more details about this project, check out our Hackaday I/O log at: https://hackaday.io/project/9059-indoor-growbot We're creating various types of joints that can be used to assemble the frame of the indoor garden system, as well as mounts for a wide range of accessories like sensors, webcams, power supplies, microcontrollers, microcomputers, water pumps, and more. The SketchUp file is included so users can modify the design to fit their specific needs. We encourage you to experiment with different designs and modules, and we'd love to see how others use this system, so please share your projects and post them online. Future subsystems, such as 3D printed water pumps and fish feeders, will be integrated into a collection specifically for this project. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Low Infill: 10-100% Notes: The design is quite flexible regardless of the settings applied, and PVC pipes fit well into the joints. Patience and a steady hand are key to getting it right.
