Modular Hotend Mount for Prometheus V2 Hotend
thingiverse
Modified the setup on my Prometheus V2 Hotend to incorporate a 40mm Fan, which resulted in printing lower fan ducts to focus air flow directly onto the heat sink. This required using the MPX connection adapter with Tramming/Bed leveling mount for the inductive sensor. Additionally, I included SketchUp files in the updated configuration. Note: I was initially having trouble with Auto Bed Leveling on my 3D printer due to a technical issue related to my E3D Lite6 HotEnd being set up at an incorrect angle. To resolve this problem, I found that the hotend was elevated 2mm above its ideal position within the mount and needed to be levelled with the inductive sensor for smooth printing. To address this, I created a new component with a notch, specifically a recessed ledge which sits approximately 2mm below the intended surface, known as e3d_bowden_mount_b_8.2mm.stl
